In our submission to the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill, we have highlighted the impact of transport poverty and the vital importance of ensuring everyone has access to transport in order to lead full and active lives.
We made the case that priority for shared, active and sustainable travel modes needs to be built into the planning and design of all areas, not only to support local people and their communities but to ensure better health, economic and environmental outcomes for everyone.
