‘It’s everyone’s journey’ tackles some of the challenges facing public transport users

The DfT has launched a new campaign in partnership with transport bodies, disability groups and people with disabilities, to champion equal access to public transport.

‘It’s everyone’s journey’ (#WorldOfDifference) tackles some of the challenges Covid-19 has raised when it comes to using public transport including wearing face coverings, the need for assistance and social distancing. For people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment or mental health issues, these challenges can be a barrier to travelling.

The campaign is calling on people to show patience, consideration and understanding, with a short video showing the difference these things can make to someone’s journey.
