2018 Transport Times UK Bus Summit

2018 Transport Times UK Bus Summit

Claire Walters joined the fourth annual UK Bus Summit hosted by Transport Times which this year saw Nusrat Ghani MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State  at the Department for Transport deliver the keynote speach.

Claire welcomed the strong focus on how bus and coach design is leading the way in cleaning up our air and making buses an even more sustainable travel choice: "41% of dangerous emissions in our air come from private cars while only 6% comes from older diesel buses. We welcomed Clare Haigh's challenge to Government and local authorities to address the private car problems of pollution and congestion now."
