Bus Users has submitted its response to the London Assembly’s call for evidence on the capital’s bus network.
The investigation comes in the wake of TfL’s (Transport for London) Bus Action Plan launched in March 2022 along with a series of consultations on potential cuts to services and frequencies.
In its response to the call for evidence, Bus Users has highlighted the impact of cuts to services and frequencies not just on the people who rely on buses, but on efforts to reduce congestion and pollution in the capital.
The charity also made the case for buses as a tool for social inclusion, and called on TfL to ensure that all groups and communities have a voice in their consultations.
