World Mental Health Day - Monday 10 October 2016

World Mental Health Day (10 October 2016) organised by the World Federation for Mental Health, is dedicated to global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. The aim is to give people the confidence to tackle the stigma, isolation and discrimination surrounding mental health.

The theme this year is Dignity in Mental Health - Psychological & Mental Health First Aid and Bus Users is working with a number of other organisations to raise awareness of the challenges people with mental health conditions face when using public transport.

You can find out more about World Mental Health Day and read the report into this year's event by visiting the World Federation for Mental Health's website
